Branch Manager

Manpower of the Mid-South is searching for a?Branch Manager that will be responsible for the management of the Trenton and Milan office and the territory covered by this office. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Overseeing day to day operation and being the driver for the delivery of exceptional service to internal and external clients. The Branch Manager will be accountable for revenue generation to achieve Profit & Loss expectations for the offices.


Primary Responsibilities




  • Communicate company strategies, objectives and results to support Manpower of the Mid-South Vision and Values


  • Provide direct supervision to branch team members


  • Participate in development of all strategic staffing business plans in assigned branch(es) to increase revenue and profit.


  • Implement and monitor activities designed to recruit, train and retain temporary employees needed to fill all available assignments.


  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems or complaints of temporary associates and clients


  • Perform functions of other branch staff as needed


  • Conduct outside sales and service calls to increase internal and external business opportunities


  • Direct and manage staff in client development activities, including face-to-face contacts to create and develop a good business relationship with existing and inactive clients.?


  • Complete and maintain reports of individual and branch activities


  • Manage and participate in activities to decrease associate accident and incidents ?


  • All other duties that may arise to support branch operations






  • Bachelors degree in business management, marketing or a related field is required.


  • Minimum 3 years management / leadership skills are preferred


  • Strong sales/marketing skills needed to meet business development goals.


  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong customer service skills.


  • Proven track record for successful staff and business development.


  • Strong PC skills and the ability to navigate within the Manpower systems


  • Ability to advise, counsel, guide, and negotiate with others (e.g., staff, temporaries).


  • Ability to develop (i.e., through teaching, training, etc.) the professional skills of employees.


  • Ability to analyze and evaluate people, data, and things to determine courses?of action.


  • Ability to effectively and tactfully deal with people.


  • Ability to produce results within an unstructured environment and have the flexibility to identify and respond to changes in priorities.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
