Sr. Quality Manager

Analyzes, evaluates, and presents information concerning factors, such as business situations, production capabilities, manufacturing problems, economic trends, and design and development of new products for consideration.
Performs research, design and development of quality processes and controls.
Performs product/process analysis for launch, cost reduction, quality, safety and efficiency.
Designs, develops and tests and/or sources and cost justifies equipment and tools.
Evaluates designs, drawings, project plans, specifications and other documents.
Reviews technical problems and procedures and recommends solutions to problems or changes in procedures.
Leads project teams of significant scope.
Champion a robust organizational quality culture.
Train and influence the organization in quality related manufacturing practices
Identify, prioritize, and own large scale projects from development to completion
Deploy and measure the effectiveness of new quality processes and tools.
Create and maintain quality metric database(s) for KPIs such as scrap rate and COPQ
Ownership of the non-conformance and document control systems
Monitor data streams for trends in KPIs to generate project ideas
Actively participate in the ECN process
Perform process risk audits
May coordinate vendor or employee work duties on assigned projects.
Writes reports, appropriations requests, proposals, and prepares presentations.
Reviews technical publications, articles, and abstracts to stay abreast of technical developments in industry.
Actively participates in providing a safe and harmonious working environment for all employees
Assures compliance with federal, state, local and corporate governance policies, regulations and laws, AADG programs and policies and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct.
Travel as needed.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor?s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Industrial preferred)
Lean or Lean Six-Sigma Certification (Green Belt, Kaizen Facilitator, etc.)
Certification as a Quality Engineer preferred.
10+ years in a highly configured steel fabrication and assembly manufacturing environment
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, product designs, safety, quality and workflow.
Created and implemented inspection standards and methods; determining appropriate inspection frequencies to mitigate customer risk
Experience with APQP principles and techniques
5+ years creating process SOPs, training employees, and document control
Developed quality acceptance criteria, based on customer requirements, for various products from raw materials through finished goods
Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (JDE preferred)
Successfully managed non-conformance systems
Experience with Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma programs
Experience with ISO 9001 and/or similar quality operating systems.
Ability to problem solve using the DMAIC or PDCA methods
Ability to understand and translate ANSI, ASTM and similar standards into internal procedures
Ability to analyze volumes of data and transform data into actionable information
Ability to influence a cross-functional team to implement process changes
Exceptional interpersonal skills; develops relationships easily
Approaches daily work using a systems and process based approach
Exceptional user of Microsoft Office programs
Must be willing to travel over 60% of time by all methods of transportation

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
