Medical Scientific Liason (MSL)

Location: the MSL is a field position based in the Rome area
The MSL will engage with the key opinion leaders regarding products, developing awareness and understanding of the product and creating an environment for the use of the product in a broad range of indications as the development program expands. Understand and discuss clinical practices and educate clinical stakeholders to drive change and ensure optimal use of CSL Behring products.
Key Responsiblities:
MSL, in concert with Medical Affairs Manager of the given therapeutic area, engages and build strong links with key external medical experts in the assigned territory
MSL manages and monitors local studies, contributes to generate product-related scientific data through developing and maintaining an in-depth understanding of the therapy area
He/she provides support to external experts and collaborate with internal stakeholders to maintain a high level of scientific partnership
A Degree in a relevant scientific discipline such as medicine, biology, pharmacology, pharmacy, immunology, biosciences, public health or epidemiology
A degree in Medicine is considered a strong preferential title
A PhD in a relevant scientific field would be highly desirable
Study or professional experience abroad is a preferential title
Significant experience in the Medical area including clinical research and medical Affairs roles
Demonstrated relevant competencies required to qualify for this role
Prior Pharmaceutical or Biotech industry experience (specific product expertise in the coagulation, immunology, acquired bleedings areas) is considered preferential
Ability to build and develop successful relationship with KOLs and other relevant interlocutors within the Hospital Organization and assigned area
Ability to manage internal relations with other department (Sales, Market Access, Marketing)
Ability to apply and leverage scientific and medical knowledge is essential
Strong negotiation, influencing and leadership skills
Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to manage relationships with external experts

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
