Indirect Procurement Director

YOOX NET-A-PORTER GROUP is currently looking for a Procurement Director for Indirect Spend.
The starting point for the role is a deep understanding of current procurement organization in relation to the businesses and lead Global Category Managers and Central Procurement Office on the procurement assessment and strategy definition.
The Indirect Procurement Director is responsible for overseeing the development, ongoing maintenance, execution, establishing/leading procurement strategies to streamline tendering, contracts management, spend analytics and supplier performance management.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic oversight of the entire indirect procurement organization to ensure overall alignment of processes relating to the purchase of goods and services for the group;
Lead the development, roll-out, and implementation of purchasing guidelines, policies and procedures across the organization;
Work closely with senior managers to set strategic vision and goals and ensure the execution of procurement strategies across the group with a consistent and high quality value delivery;
Establish, communicate and implement long-term goals for the department in order to promote effectiveness and efficiency;
Develop sourcing and procurement activities that support key business objectives;
Identify areas for improvement to continually drive performance and business results;
Maintain strong working relationships with strategic suppliers to assure cost, quality, and delivery targets are met;
Implement best practices in procurement and supplier management to support commercial and operational objectives;
Manage recruiting, training and supervising Central Procurement Office and a team of Category Managers who are responsible for day-to-day category management activities as well as categories strategy, system and process development;
Build market intelligence capabilities within the category management team on key markets, suppliers and solutions to support strategy development purposes;
Update procurement strategies based on changing market conditions.
Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree level education and/or relevant experience;
Minimum 10 to 15 years of experience in Procurement;
Strong analytical skills including usage excel for data analysis;
Computer and system skills including use of MS Office tools; knowledge of e-procurement tools (e.g. Bravo Solution/Jagger, Coupa or similar);
A relevant educational background, e.g. a finance and commercial education background topped with solid financial and commercial understanding on fashion and e-commerce industry, all backed by solid procurement management in an international organization;
Result-oriented and with analytical approach;
Tenacious and with experience in a large matrix environment, excellent with stakeholders, building relationships and networks internally and externally;
Understanding of ethical and sustainable sourcing principles and practice within the fashion industry or similar;
Ability to cope with complex situations and deliver in a rapidly evolving environment.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
