Warehouse UAT Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities
? Manage and lead an effective and cohesive local UAT/Systems Ops team.
? Work with the HGOS in building a cooperative and effective global team, assisting colleagues in other locations as required, ensuring a constant information flow and knowledge sharing.
? Work with the HGOS in ensuring a consistent approach to Operations systems development, first line system support and user acceptance testing, standardising processes and functions across all locations.
? Lead, develop and motivate direct reports, ensuring continuous improvement through regular individual and team sessions.
? Ensure all direct reports are regularly appraised and have clear career and individual development plans
? Ensure a high level of morale and productivity.
? Identify and develop members within the team with the potential to assume more responsibility as needed/available.
? Be the local point of contact for functional questions.
? Work with operational management teams and end users to ensure that the systems are best utilised to fulfil business needs, as well as collate change requests for prioritisation and approval.
? Support the HGOS in prioritisation of bug fixes, enhancements and new functionality requests of all systems, internal and external, across all facilities.
? Work with Ops Managers, Quality & Innovation and Training teams in identifying areas for additional training, best practice and improvement opportunities, as well as providing coaching and technical leadership as required, ensuring we achieve improvements in operational performance.
? Produce relevant documentation for any new system processes, as well as any data or information requirements, ensuring a continuous and thorough handover of all necessary information to training teams and management.
? Develop a thorough understanding of user requirements, in conjunction with the HGOS and Tech's Product Owners, contributing to program design through recommendations and reviews.
? Ensure an up to date understanding of operational processes, maintaining regular contact with stakeholders and end users, aiding future verification that the proposed changes are fit for purpose.
? Oversee and support the UAT/Systems Ops team in software testing and evaluation, confirming new code works when integrated with other systems, internal or third party, ensuring a thorough overall end-to-end system verification.
? Oversee and support the UAT/System Ops in the management of the backlog of fixes for bug reported through the Operations Systems Support address.
? Signing off new functionality and communicating with customers, in conjunction with the HGOS, or indeed acting on their behalf if needed.
? Assist in the preparation and presentation of showcases to stakeholders and other users about changes being delivered.
? Assist users in their use of all systems, helping with troubleshooting, and support on-going system configuration, such as menus and templates.
? Provide operational support when deemed necessary, especially in scenarios of known bugs/defects that may require a workaround.
? Support yearly auditing process, as well as ensuring any regular monthly requirements, e.g. monthly user admin review, are completed.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
